CASE # 1
Patient of 14 y/o without prevous trauma suffer this injury while he was playing Socket, and hit another player and fell to the floor.

Treatment and Result

ORIF with compression screw and anchor suture for the flap of periosteum. Three weeks in a Knee splint and isometric exercises, follow by Isotonic exercises after 3 weeks, Progressive weight bearing and return to full sport activities in three months.

CASE # 2
Male, 46 y/o hit by a car, suffered severe comminute fracture proximal third of the tibia, he development compartment syndrome in the ER. Three compartment fasciectomy done, ORIF done at the same time, secondary closure in the next few days was done. Keep in a Plaster Splint for 4 weeks, NWB for three months, progressive PT and after 3 months WB. Release for his Construction job six months after the accident. The plate was removed before release due to discomfort when the patient kneeling.
